Budget cut sweeping America even more so off its financial feet

This author from CBS news is explaining the effect of the budget cuts across America and exactly what is being cut and who is getting the short end of the stick they title the piece "State and local budget cuts are slowing US economy". They shed light on how the budget cut backs are reducing wages and fees garnered to nursing homes in Florida, and slashing health insurance subsidies for low income Pennsylvanians, closing down prisons in  New York state and reducing funding for elderly and disabled patients in California. I believe this authors target audience are middle age Americans who are generally in touch with politics and are usually part of committees and political groups linked to action against such budget cuts. The author seems to be quite credible based upon the usage of statistics from the Brookings Institution as well as the broad scope of topics that the author covers seems to exemplify their knowledge of this issue and looks as if they follow this topic very closely. their main argument which is well illuminated in the title suggest that due to the recession budget cuts are being made seemingly across the board and the effect of these cuts are further drawing us deeper into a recession. I tend to agree with the authors viewpoint because in order to make money you have to spend money so in times like these its better to put everything you got into making something work rather than shirk away from goods and services people need just to save money in the long run. When situations get tough i believe its better to give it your all instead of trying to section off and survive in the long run instead of trying to innovate and push new boundaries and find other ways to save that don't affect and hurt low income families and senior citizens by refusing them the service they need.
